What We Do

The NY NJ Center for ACT provides research-informed psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families as well as workshops, consultation, supervision, and training.  We provide these services across a wide range of settings, including educational contexts (K-12 and higher education), health care facilities, religious organizations, and community agencies – any settings where humans interact with one another.

We are deeply committed to ACT because of its relevance to and value in addressing all forms of human suffering.  This belief is supported by extensive scientific research (https://contextualscience.org/).  Whatever forms of distress you are experiencing (e.g., anxiety, depression, chronic pain, advanced illness, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges), we are hopeful that our flexible and compassionate approach will help you move your life in directions you deeply value.
